Volunteer for Ignite Fort Collins
Ignite Fort Collins events are organized by a dedicated group of volunteers, it wouldn’t happen without them. We can always use an extra hand!
What Volunteers Do
There are four different teams you can volunteer for (or more than one, if you’d like): Operations, Technical, Logistics, and Communications.
- The Operations Team focuses on managing the entertainment aspects of the event on the day-of. These folks help get the speakers to where they need to go, help make sure the prizes and giveaways are ready to go and get to the right people, make sure the sponsors know where they’re sitting, MC the event, and help with speaker selection and training.
- The Technical Team focuses on managing the website, speaker presentations before and during the event, uploading the photos and managing the video after the event, setting up the venue to our specifications, and all the on-site technical issues that go into putting on Ignite events.
- The Logistics Team focuses on connecting the dots and all arrangements regarding our venue, caterer, live music, ticket sales, coordinating on-site operations on the day of the event and after-party.
- The Communications Team focuses on alerting, connecting, and syncing up Speakers, Attendees and Sponsors by sending out lots of emails, blogs, Tweets, Pinterest Pins, Facebook Posts, and newsletters.
